Today, Adobe has released an important update for Adobe Reader and Acrobat. (Check the adobe blog the official announcement).This update addresses critical security updates in Adobe Reader and Acrobat. One of the issues that has been fixed is the flaw that recently has been discussed at the Black Hat USA 2010 security conference (by Charlie Miller). It is advised to update Adobe Reader as soon as possible!
- Open Adobe Reader
- Go to 'Help' and select 'Check for updates'
- Click 'Download' to download the update
- One the update has been downloaded, click 'Install' to install the update.
- You need to restart your computer once the update has been installed

I just ran the update. Didn't affect the operation in any way which was ideal.
